To whom it may concern.
If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Sofia, then I would highly
recommend the Ognian 48 apartments for the following reasons.
1) The location of the apartments.
The metro station is only a 5-minute walk away. If takes approx 20 min
walk to the main Shopping area and sites in the center of Sofia along
main roads.
2) The apartments are very well furnished with good quality furniture,
TV and heating which is essential in the winter.
The two apartments I have stayed in have views overlooking the park
and one has a small kitchen, which was very useful. I could find no
fault with cleanliness of the apartments. There was also in both apartments
no problem with lack of hot water. The apartments had good security
doors so as a person staying there alone at times. I felt very safe.
I have stayed at these apartments many times and have found Ognian's
office extremely professional when in booking my stay. The outside of
the building can be a little bit daunting as many buildings in Sofia
are to the western eye. The apartments can only be reached from stairs
so be forwarned. If you are hard of walking or elderly you may find
it a little difficult, so ask the office about the lower floor apartments.
I also used the Rocco Rent a car company recommended by Ognian and was
very happy. They were reliable. Their prices were competitive and of
course he cars were in good condition and well maintained, so I never
had a problem with them.
I found that when using both companies the staff were helpful to explain
and answer all my numerous questions.
Thank you as always to the staff of Ognian and Rotto for making my stay
so pleasurable and for putting up with me. I call be back soon.
